Wisconsin leads the country in defensive eFG% with a mark of 33.2%. Alabama, Kentucky and Louisville are ranked second, third and fourth in the category.

The Badgers have kept their opponents to 43 or fewer points in five of their six games and 33 or fewer points in three of those.

Wisconsin will play North Carolina on Wednesday, who are recovering from a loss last week to UNLV.

Geno Thorpe has committed to Patrick Chambers and Penn State.

"They're looking to turn the program and that's what I'm about," Thorpe said. "He's a guard-tempo kind of guy. He's very up-tempo and he likes his guards, especially his point guards. He always talked to me about attitude and always having that gut feeling about what you want to do in life. I want to play at Penn State."
